Overview

Under the immediate supervision of the Chef Manager, is responsible for providing dining room services to Sugar Hill residents as well as washing and sanitation of kitchen area.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience: Culinary training or proven working ability to produce quality meals. Experience with all aspects of food preparation. Ability to relate well with residents

Responsibilities

Serving Meals

  • Prepares and serves breakfast to residents and caters to reasonable requests

Sets up dining room

  • Resets dining room in Assisted Living
    Set up and breakdown of events and functions as required outside of dining area

Sanitation

  • Washes all breakfast dishes
  • Responsible for sanitation of kitchen and storage areas as required

Other

  • Manages food so as to minimize waste
  • Works collaboratively with Chef Manager and Assisted Living staff to coordinate menu selection in accordance with dietary requirements of residents
  • Completes work checklist daily
