Overview

Under the immediate supervision of the Chef Manager, is responsible for management of the Sugar Hill breakfast dining program in the absence of the Chef Manager.

 

Qualifications

Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: Culinary training or proven working ability to produce quality meals. Experience with all aspects of food preparation. Ability to relate well with residents

Responsibilities

Assists Chef Manager

  • Assists in ordering foodAssists in menu selection and coordination in accordance with dietary requirements of residents
  • Assists in supervision and training of all kitchen staff

Cook

  • Prepares lunch, evening meals, and Sunday brunch as required

Minimize Waste

  • Manages food so as to minimize waste

Sanitation

  • Responsible for sanitation of kitchen and storage areas as required
