Under the immediate supervision of the Senior Director of IT, is responsible for providing customer support and technical assistance to computer system users.


This is a full-time position.


Education: Completion of two years of college or equivalent in related field with computer training

Experience: Minimum one year experience, preferably in health care


Provide Customer Support for IT issues from staff

  • Answer technical questions via telephone or email to resolve break fix issues
  • Record and define problems accurately
  • Assign and escalate tickets timely and accurately
  • Manage the coordination of new hires and terminations as it related to IT System access

Primary support for the Service Desk software

  • Ensure tickets are documented appropriately (mode, category, etc)
  • Update tasks and templates as needed
  • Produce Reports as requested from Service Desk Software

Effective Communication

  • Timely and relevant task entries and updates, inclusive of resolutions
  • Work with internal and external customers
  • Escalate issues or delays to supervisor as needed
  • Stay abreast of Organizational and Departmental communications
  • Demonstrates tact and customer service in all interactions. This includes effective listening techniques, building consensus and handling alternate points of view. Service is provided to customers and co-workers.

Support IT Operations

  • Manage Paging System
  • Perform security audits as directed
  • Provide timely and accurate incident response documentation
  • Assist in other IT Operations functions
