Under the general supervision of the Practice Manager, is responsible for representing the office in a professional, friendly, repetitive and respectful manner while facilitating the patient’s care through multiple channels. While assisting with patient care functions, will be under the general direction of either the Provider or licensed nurse with authority to delegate. Will treat patients in a respectful, confidential and family-friendly manner.
This is a full-time position in Wolfeboro Women's Health and Wolfeboro General Surgery.
Education: Medical background such as an MA, LNA, EMT, or other comparable background. Secretarial training to include typing, word processing, and computer skills required
Experience: Two years in a medical office preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and excellent interpersonal communication and computer skills. Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask and shift functions within the office
Licensure: May have licenses and certifications related to clinical training such as a NH LNA, CMA or RMA form an accredited program, or EMT. BLS required. Required to register with the NH Board of Medical Technicians if a Medical Assistant
