  • Overview

    Under the immediate supervision of the EMR Manager, is responsible for ongoing training and support on the EMR application.

    Qualifications

    Education:  High School diploma, college degree preferred with broad knowledge of medical practice field. Successful completion of a Nursing or Medical Assistant Degree Program.

    Experience: Three to five years as a Nurse or Medical Assistant in a physician office setting or other demonstrated relevant training and experience.  Previous experience working with or implementing an EMR/Practice Management System strongly preferred.

    Responsibilities

    EMR Knowledge

    • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge and experience with the functionality of the Greenway PrimeSuite application.
    • Develop and maintain an understanding of Greenway and other third party applications that might interact with Greenway PrimeSuite.
    • Develop and maintain an understanding of the Greenway reporting system

    EMR Training

    • Provide training to all new users and develop a process for assessing existing users and provide retraining as necessary.
    • Maintain training documentation in an up to date manner
    • Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive training program.
    • Provide training to practice SuperUsers and end users in preparation of upgrades and added/changes in functionality.

    Best Practice Workflows

    • Assess and design practice workflows for functional system integration in collaboration with key stakeholders.
    • Support SuperUsers within the practices with education material and meetings to disseminate update functionality and correct workflows as needed in the practices.

    EMR Support

    • Evaluate upgrades and additional components/applications for interaction with PrimeSuite and advice on potential practice workflow changes as necessary.
    • Provide support for day to day workflow issues to all users as needed
